Direct-admit scholarships

These scholarships are for incoming freshmen who received direct admission to our school. Automatic direct admits are invited to complete the Selective Scholarship Application (SSA), which is used to determine which SICE direct-admit scholarships they receive. These awards are renewable beyond freshman year. You can apply for additional SICE undergraduate scholarships each spring semester.

Cecil “Corky” Richmond Jr. Scholarship

Amount: $1,000 to $2,500
Majors: All SICE majors

Class standing: Incoming freshmen; renewable
Preference or special considerations: For students who are automatic direct admits to SICE. Preference is given to Indiana residents.

Direct Admit Scholarship

Amount: $500 to $2,000
Majors: All SICE majors
GPA: N/A
Class standing: Incoming freshmen; renewable
Preference or special considerations: For students who are directly admitted to SICE. Based on standardized test scores and the application essay.

FIRST® Robotics Scholarship

Amount: $2,000
Majors: All SICE majors
GPA: N/A
Class standing: Incoming freshmen; renewable
Preference or special considerations: For students who are directly admitted to SICE. Based on FIRST Robotics involvement and the application essay.

Hudson and Holland Scholars Program Matching Scholarship

Amount: $2,000
Majors: All SICE majors
GPA: N/A
Class standing: Incoming freshmen; renewable
Preference or special considerations: Hudson and Holland Scholars who are also directly admitted to our school will receive this matching scholarship from SICE.

John R. Gibbs Scholarship for Innovation

Amount: $2,000

Class standing: Incoming freshmen; renewable
Preference or special consideration: For students who are automatic direct admits to SICE. Preference is given to students demonstrating or expressing interest in innovation and entrepreneurship. When all other qualities are equal, preference is given to Indiana residents and students with financial need.

Project Lead The WAY (PLTW) + SICE Scholarship

Amount: Up to $2,500
Major: Intelligent Systems Engineering
GPA: N/A
Class standing: Incoming freshmen; renewable
Preference or special considerations: For students who are directly admitted to SICE and who enrolled in Project Lead the Way programs during high school. They must meet additional requirements, too.
